EASTER DAY KIDS’ ART ACTIVITY


 



A BUNCH OF ANIMALS
This art is based upon warli animals & horse rider. The colors as well as the shapes are very exciting. Kids   always like to be in action. Similarly, in the picture all animals are in some movement. In this session kids filled colors in the shapes & created colorful birds, animals, blue cloud, smiling sun & an energetic horse rider.

LOVELY MOMENTS WITH KIDS




Easter day session was rocking. Many kids arrived at VALA to attend the art activity as a celebration for Easter. Kids as well as parents also found the art very attractive. Starting with their   favorite animal, they paved their way throughout the art, eventually resulting in exquisite arts.  Along with kids, some parents also got engaged with high enthusiasm. Every kid went home happily with a lovely drawing done by them. When I appreciated them for their work, they looked so happy & confident. Therefore, it was a memorable experience to celebrate Easter day with lovely kids.

MATSYA PURANA

MATSYA PURANA STORY OF MANU According to Hindu mythology , the Matsya Purana , is one of the eighteen major Puranas . According to the text , Matsya is the first avatar of Hindu God Vishnu , in the form of a giant fish . The text describes the tale of a great flood , where Matsya is described to have rescued the first man , Manu . Matsya forewarns Manu about an impending catastrophic flood . He orders him to collect all the grains of the world , all living creatures as well as Sapta rishis (the seven sages ) .When t he flood destroys the world , Vasuki appeared as rope , to fasten the boat with the horn of the giant fish . Matsya pulls the boat to safety & rescued Manu , accompanied by the seven great sages . Hence,The great   Manu is known as progenitor of current humanity . MAYURA

Mayura is the Sanskrit word for a peacock. It is a magnificent bird. It's inspiring nature encouraged me to showcase it’s beauty on canvas.So I named my painting as “Mayura”. The concept behind this painting is very simple.It is just about a beautiful bird  sitting  on  a tree. It  is not a realistic painting. It is an imaginary  mayura. The style of this painting is a blend of my imaginative ideas, and concepts of  madhubani painting ,kalamkari and    gond  art  from Bihar,Andhra Pradesh and Madhya  Pradesh  in India respectively . Peacock is the heart of this painting.It’s anatomy is divided into three parts : wings,torso & marvellous feathers.The design of wings is blending of realism & my imaginative ideas.Wings  of a real peacock have many  semi circular patterns.
