DANCING FISHES

Hi friends  .I have come up again with another version of fish art. This painting is another result of my love  towards madhubani painting & gond art.The patterns in border & background is based upon madhubani art. While the dancing fishes are designed as per gond art.

I have been doing painting since childhood. But I started applying these folk art patterns  into my paintings very recently & which gave a new look to my art. These folk paintings are amazing .They don’t follow the grammar of fine art because folk artists are not trained in fine art. They follow their own style & create incredible paintings .They develop their style from their day to day life .
Now let’s examine the patterns more precisely.

The magic of gond art lies in beautiful patterns created with dots & lines.

In folk art , tails of fishes are also designed with intricate patterns.

Hence ,this is my another trial to enhance the rich culture of Indian folk art. Therefore  ,I will be longing to know the views of all my art friends about my painting as well as various ideas related to folk art of India.

  1. It's absolutely stunning! I have always painted madhubani and warli folk art but have been so drawn towards gond art in the last few days. I would love to learn the technical aspect of this beautiful art!
