COLORFUL FISHES

Image
COLORFUL FISHES  I love to watch colorful fishes swimming here & there in aquariums. So I named the painting as COLORFUL FISHES. Moreover, this art is based upon a famous tribal art of central India known as GOND ART, which depicts local flora & fauna of the region. This art is different from contemporary art. Here I do not need to focus upon   light & shade on the body of fishes ,unlike contemporary art. I just need to focus on decorating the objects by applying fine & colorful patterns. The challenge is to highlight each & every patterns. Besides applying variant color patterns on the fishes, I also tried to apply patterns on the background. Every human being differ from one another by appearance, character & mood. So I decorated each & every fish with different shape, color, pattern & mood. I applied dash patterns on hydra in order to depict its softness as well as its rhythm. Hence, I am very eager to know the views re...

BABY ELEPHANT   This is a baby warli elephant playing with a ball. This art is just a trial to create an image of the basic shape of an elephant’s anatomy among kids. Moreover kids love colors as well as fond of playing with ball. So I felt kids will be able to easily relate themselves in this art     & will love to fill colors in the baby elephant. The intent behind the idea of this art was to engage kids in an imaginative, colorful & fun filled session. PASSIONATE KIDS   The session of “baby elephant” continued two Saturdays. All the kids filled colors in the baby elephant with lot of interest. During this session some talented kids arrived to attend the activity. They were filling colors very steadily, without putting it out of line. They did the coloring with lot of patience & care. I am very glad to feel that two kids visited VALA particularly to attend the kids’ art activity .Both the kids attended the first session .Then th...

LOVELY MOMENTS WITH KIDS Easter day session was rocking. Many kids arrived at VALA to attend the art activity as a celebration for Easter. Kids as well as parents also found the art very attractive. They get an opportunity to enhance creativity; to make decisions i.e. what to draw & which color to put & to learn get a control on materials like pencil, colors, paper & many other objects. Hence, ART is a path for kids to “ learn with fun”. KIDS’ ART ACTIVITY WITH FUN & WARLI Warli art is a tribal art , native to Maharshtra , in India. When I started practicing Warli art , I felt that due to the ...
